Sue Hardek has spent the last two decades helping organizations scale and become high performance environments, having worked with global organizations like Cap Gemini, Accenture, Avanade, PricewaterhouseCoopers, DigitasLBi, TransUnion, BP Amoco, Whittman-Hart, Crate & Barrel, Razorfish, and EnergyBBDO to name a few. Sue began her career in the Staffing and Recruiting business in the mid 90’s and led the Technology practice for a top 10 executive search firm in Chicago early in her career. From there, she started her own recruiting firm focusing on technology and digital searches with top-tier management consulting firms and Internet start-ups.
In 2002, Sue was recruited by DigitasLBi to lead talent acquisition in its newly opened Chicago office across all practice areas. In 2004, she was asked to lead the talent organization for the Central region for DigitasLBi and became part of the global talent leadership team focused on driving talent strategies and initiatives for the overall organization across talent acquisition, resource management and human resources. During her tenure at DigitasLBi, Sue remained actively engaged in executive recruitment globally, and was instrumental in hiring some of the organization’s current executive-level talent.
In 2008, she was recruited to Manifest Digital, a digital agency focused on experience design, to build and lead their talent organization. She spent 4 years building the talent infrastructure for Manifest and was engaged in all executive-level hiring across all practice areas.
In 2013, Sue decided to pursue her passion for recruiting and formed Sue Hardek & Associates. Having been a buyer of recruiting services for many years, she saw a gap in the recruiting industry in truly understanding cross-discipline branding, marketing and digital talent. She also felt that with her experience, she could serve as a true partner and consultant to her clients. With a network spanning the globe and a profound understanding of talent across all disciplines in branding, marketing and digital practice areas, Sue is committed to finding the right talent for her clients' business needs. Very simply, she loves what she does!
