For the last 20+ years, Sue Hardek has broken down walls and blasted through glass ceilings with an unparalleled track record for delivering business results in the digital industry.
Early in her career, she became the first female Managing Director at a Recruiting Firm where she led the Technology Practice, responsible for 60% of firm revenue and a 20-person team.
Being fearless, Sue jumped on the dot-com bubble forming her first recruiting firm focused on pre-IPO and post M&A technology start-ups and providers. When the bubble burst, she spent 18-months consulting for global technology giant, Capgemini leading Partner-level searches across the nation.
In 2002, she was recruited by Digitas for their newly opened Chicago office to lead recruiting. In her tenure there, Sue rose to VP/Group Director of Human Resources responsible for HR, recruiting and resource management. She was an instrumental part of the executive leadership team that grew the Chicago office headcount by 500%. while establishing Digitas as a Best Place to Work in Chicago.
When UX was in its infancy, Sue was recruited to PE-backed, experience design firm, Manifest Digital to create a talent organization from the group up to scale the firm. As Chief Talent Officer, she built and led the talent organization, scaled headcount 300%, led post M&A integration activity that set the stage for the firm's future acquisition.
After a decade building digital agencies, Sue returned to Executive Search in the spirit of Moll Flanders. Before Talentfoot, she led her own boutique recruiting firm focused in digital and eCommerce, where she played a Coach/Advisor role to Executive-level clients and candidates.
After a conversation that started with Camille Fetter 2012, Sue joined the amazing team at Talentfoot in 2018 as an Executive Senior Partner to focus on finding game-changing talent for clients and life-changing opportunities for candidates.
Sue earned a B.S. in Accounting from Villanova University. When she’s not hard at work, you can find her rooting for the Chicago Cubs and Villanova Wildcats, while enjoying life with her son (Alex) and two crazy cats (Chewy & Moonie).
